Maria Carrasquillo is an organizational development practitioner with more than a decade of experience. Bicultural and bilingual, Maria specializes in cultural competency, group facilitation, and organizational effectiveness and performance.
She has helped nonprofit and private-sector organizations reinforce their vision and mission, value diversity, and strengthen organizational capacity. She also delivers strategic planning, volunteer management, and board development expertise.
Maria volunteers as an account director with the Taproot Foundation, which provides pro-bono business services to socially focused organizations.
Maria holds an M.A. in business management from Bowie State University and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Maryland. She also holds the Certified Professional Facilitator designation from the International Association of Facilitators.
